Founded in 1999, Speaking of Lacan (SOL) is a Toronto based non-profit organization dedicated to the study of Lacanian psychoanalysis. The association is an independent and self-supporting forum for clinicians, scholars and students from a variety of disciplines who are interested in the elaboration and advancement of Lacanian theory and praxis. SOL regularly holds seminars, workshops and discussion groups with guest speakers from Europe and North America.
Anyone with an interest in Lacanian studies is welcome to participate in the activities. To register for an event, please consult the information provided in the Calendar of Events.
